"Emma" by Jane Austen

I'm in love with Jane Austen :) I love her style and her pacing, I love how she had strong characters in her books, whether it be the main lead or the supporting characters.

With "Emma", the character of the main role is very clear. And even though it developed slightly (I think), it remained consistent throughout the book! And what a brave thing to write of such a character like Emma. I'd consider her as quite 'vain', 'naive', even. But (fortunately for her) the whole community didn't seem to care that much? Or, can we say that the community is as naive as her?

But I love the 'plot twist'. With Emma and Mr. Knightley, Harriet, and Frank.

With Jane Austen, I note how she ended her novels. It was always in a 'resolution' kind of manner. And it was always calm. I don't know if this is my style, but I haven't really seen it in a lot of other books.

I started reading (maybe) 2 weeks ago? But I got caught up in exams & assignments (& having fun xP) that I  had just finished it yesterday.

At some moments I did get bored with the book (especially when there were so many characters in one scene, that I couldn't keep track of who's who. But that's my problem.) But I know with Jane Austen, not only do I enjoy her poetry, I just love her plots! So as I kept reading, I continued to just enjoy the book :)

Ah I wish she had written an infinite number of books!
Would love to read some more, after I come back from the holiday.
Which I'm not ready for (the come back, not the holiday).

CHEERS!
