April 2014 - done already??

I cannot believe that the month is almost over! I simply can't!
Goodness, it has been 4 months into 2014!
Just one more day *today* to go into May 2014!

This week has been soooo annoying for me,
as I can now wake up early, like 6 or 7 am *yes that's quite early for me :p*
BUT
then I fall into another slumber for AT LEAST an hour.
how EMBARRASSING is that? :(


 Anyway....
Last week *or the week before*
I finished making my second hand-crocheted scarf :D so happy! :p
I made a few a lot of mistakes along the way,
ones I can't go back to and remake, but that's okay, right? :p:p
*No one will know :p*


This morning is started off by learning Irish accent!
Which! I'm still struggling with...
I love learning accents!
Not that it's important or something, but it's fun to learn how people speak the same language in different ways :)


This month has been a roller-coaster ride of emotion for me :)
don't know why....
But it has been a good month :)


Hope to see April again, sometime next year,
somewhere other than home? :)

What Friends Are For

Dua hari keluar bareng temen-temen is such a huge refreshment! :D


Setelah berbulan-bulan nggak ketemu, dan pada sibuk dengan sekolah,
akhirnya kemarin Jumat dan Sabtu kita pada bisa ketemuan :D

Ngobrol, nostalgia, having ice cream, having lunch together, main di Game Fan like we belong there :p
Sharing memories about our elementary years,
And sharing best hopes for our futures :)


It was such a fun time that I stayed longer than anyone else :p haha
I don't have anything to do, anyway,
so why not just have this real-deep, heart-to-heart talk with friends while we still can?
In a few months, most of us will be away for college, and only God knows when we shall see each other again :')


CL, Pelangi, you both hold some amazing memories now :)


One thing that could make the day better: if more friend could come :p hehe
I just haven't met you guys for soooo long :(
But it's fine; some other time, maybe :)


Love you guys all so much,

Somebody we used to know

We all have this 'somebody', don't we?

Our childhood friend whose name we've forgotten,
a best friend who used to tell us heaps of stories, but now lives in God-knows-where,
that boy or girl you used to be close to back at elementary or junior high, but now seems to grow into a different person ...


all those people we used to know,
but we don't know today...


Have you ever wondered about what happened to them?
What are their stories?
How are their lives?
If they are still the same person?


Well, we might (or we might not) eventually find out what happen to them..

But the thing is,
Sometimes we don't remember enough the contribution they gave into our lives.
Without (most of) them, we won't be the person we are today.

I mean, think about it!
Without that person who saves you from loneliness during those elementary school years,
Without that boy who unfortunately broke your heart,
Without that girl who turned out to be cheating on you,
Without that mini person who grabbed your hand first in that playground,
you might not be 'you' !


And,
whether your life now is so much better than a few years back because of them.
or it's now worse than ever,
I think we should 'thank' them for the things they've done.
Or, we should be 'thankful,' for the goodness, but even also for the horrible things they brought us into..

WHY though?
"We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character,..."


The pain won't last forever,
and one day hopefully you'll see why those people came to your life, even for only a short while..

Here I am again, bored with nothing to do,
trying to unscramble thoughts and write something! :D


I am busy doing NOTHING these days.
Good, but bad bad.

The good thing is, I have all the time in the world for myself! To do anything I want to!

The bad thing is: All I love is the pillow and a good movie.
So, yeah basically what I do all day is I lay down and watch movies.
And I sleep super early and wake up super late everyday :(
I feel sooooo horrible and I must've looked like a lazy person,

but I'm not!
I just really have nothing to do :(


So, to counter-attack le 'lazyness',
I'm starting a mini project of crochet :)


I probably should come by and write more often here too...
I guess?


But despite everything,
I'm enjoying life so much,
so much that I have no reasons not to be thankful everyday :)

One Super Week-end! Easter 2014

It had been a wonderful weekend!
It's Easter time! :D

Started off Tuesday where we had round one of full rehearsals (for both Good Friday & Easter),
then Thursday where we had our final rehearsals..

Then comes 'le show time' :)


I had been praying for 'magical' things to happen during this weekend in lives of all people of the church,
so that this won't just be another 'Easter', and another 'special service',
but this will be THE service!

And I think 'magical' things did happen :D

The services were not as complicated as, say our Christmas service,
but I found in this simplicity deep reflections of what Jesus had done for us..

 Every body's having a good time,
and really just celebrating the freedom, and the new life He has given us :)
No more bonds!


In saying that,
even though I'd been very excited during this weekend and it really had been an incredible weekend,
I was also veerryyy tired!!!

Like,
We had to stay up late on Thursday,
to edit some pieces for the Good Friday..
and in less than 12 hours we already had to be back at church for the service!

But it was all part of the fun :)



Anyway,
Hope you all have a lovely Easter/Passover!
whatever you call it.....

Remember what it's all about :)

a. Friday's Coffee Afternoon
b. Saturday's quick Salatiga trip

Kemudian UN kedua kita saat kita SMP?

Kali ini adalah UN terakhir.

UN Perpisahan dari SMA, dan dari sebagian besar teman-teman.

Dan kehidupan sebagai siswa-siswi,

Beranjak jadi mahasiswa-mahasiswi :D

Sleepover!

Rekor tidur kembali terpecahkan: tidur jam 3am.

Great.

Setelah malam sebelumnya tidur jam 2am.

:D

Tapi bukan dalam rangka apa-apa, melainkan sleepover! :D

Nonton sampe puas, ngobrol dan berbagi ‘facts’ (baca: curhatan) sampai akhirnya ketiduran… :’)

Diawali dengan nonton Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier 3D! :D

Lalu keliling mall *literally 'keliling'*

Bertengger sebentar di Starbuck dan Calais..

Pulang, the movie marathon begins :D

Di awali dengan Bride Wars, lalu Rectoverso, kemudian clips after clips of SYTYCD :D

Separuh depan film Black Swan yang nggak sanggup dihabiskan,

ditutup oleh salah satu performance Stand Up Comedy'nya Raditya Dika :)

Kemudian sesi curhat di mulai lagi setelah tadi sempat curhat di mall dan di mobil :)

sesi ini kira-kira berlangsung satu jam, dengan posisi mata sudah terpejam, dan sudah berkali-kali berusaha untuk nggak ketiduran :p
But what can I say? :D

Mungkin ini bukan the typical  sleepover with pillow fights, and popcorn and pizzas,
but it was a fun Girls' Night.
 

We have to do this again; with more friends, and more stories to share :')
