Selamat hari guru, para pendidik Indonesia :)


Menjadi guru jelas soal mengajar,
Memberikan ilmu, memampukan yang tidak bisa menjadi bisa

Tapi menjadi guru juga soal mendidik,
Menambahkan nilai pada kehidupan seseorang.
Menanamkan karakter yang baik.


Dalam 12 tahun bersekolah, I've had so many AMAZING teachers!
Mereka adalah pengajar dan pendidik yang luar biasa.
Pengorbanan para guru tidak bisa dianggap ringan.
Mereka bahkan rela bekerja di luar jobdesc mereka, they walk the extra mile just to make sure we'll make it.


Jasa mereka tidak akan dilupakan.
Pengorbanan mereka tidak akan sia-sia.

Terima kasih, bapak ibu / kakak guru..
Terus didik murid-murid di sekitar anda :)
Didik mereka untuk menjadi pandai, cinta tanah air, dan yang terpenting takut akan Tuhan.

Selamat hari guru, para pahlawan tanpa tanda jasa!

Indonesia Raya

Sudah satu bulan lebih Indonesia punya pemerintahan baru. Presiden baru setelah 10 tahun dipimpin oleh SBY.

Indonesia punya harapan baru.

Dengan pimpinan dan jajaran menteri yang baru, seperti ada hembusan nafas baru di Indonesia, terutama untuk generasi mudanya. Bahwa negara kita bisa jadi negara yang terpandang seperti negara lain. Kita tidak hanya meminta, tapi bisa memberikan dampak positif bagi dunia internasional. Bahwa kita bisa bangga pada negara kita.

20 Oktober 2014 seperti hari bersejarah baru untuk Indonesia. Semoga akan dicatat di buku pelajaran sejarah sekolah untuk dipelajari dan diingat para pelajar, bahwa hari itu lahir Indonesia baru. Indonesia yang kembali bersemangat menjunjung tinggi pancasila dan UUD 45. Indonesia yang mengedepankan Bhineka Tunggal Ika dan demokrasi.

Hari itu ada harapan untuk anak-anak muda Indonesia. Bahwa apabila kelak mereka bekerja keras dengan jujur, mereka tidak perlu takut diremehkan. Ada harapan bahwa tidak peduli siapa mereka, apa latar belakang mereka, mereka bisa turut membangun Indonesia.


Kepada Presiden Joko Widodo, Wakil Presiden JK, seluruh menteri, dewan-dewan, dan seluruh jajaran pemerintahan, semoga anda semua selalu ingat tanah air dan rakyat saat bersikap dan mengambil keputusan. Ingat para pendiri bangsa ini dan cita-cita mereka. Semoga itulah yang menjadi cita-cita anda semua.

Today I have had yet another beautiful day. So much fun with friends, with much love on the beautiful wedding day of our teacher :D
Congratulation, Mr.&Mrs. Yafet! Much love from all of us; what a lovely day it must be for you guys  :)

On the way to & from Salatiga, I had much time to ponder on what I've been thinking most about this week.

This week,
I learned that even when things don't go to plan, and people dissapoint you, there are still so many other reasons for you to smile.
You don't have to smile for yourself. But you can smile for other people.

I learned to stay with the right people. Friends who will always be there for you no matter what. Those who are bored to death hearing your stories, but are still ready to listen to some more. They'll make you smile the most and help you be a stronger person.

I learned that even when perfection does not exist, in some cases we just can't afford to lower our expectations. Instead, we should have faith in the even bigger things. Because when the right time comes, everything will just fall in place beautifully.

Finally, I learn to wait.
Waiting is good :)
Not knowing things makes me anxious and restless and confused, but if it's worth waiting, then it's okay :)
I'll just wait.


Today has not been easy,
But it has been a beautiful day :)

It's almost midnight of the third day of the new month, aaannnnddd I haven't had the chance to write anything x_x

Not because I forgot!! (okay, maybe just a little), but a lot has just been going on!

October has been a busy month. Somewhat very tiring, but PTL we get to move on to this next month :p


In this new month, a lot of exciting projects are happening.
Christmas preps to be precise! :D
And not only one, but two Christmases to prepare! How awesome is that? :D
I get to be involved in our church's Christmas event, but also in the specific event for our youths. Exciting stuff!
(ps: I hope I still have time to 'plan' a little Christmas with my lovely bunch of people :p we'll see..)

Also, a lot of things will (read: are expected to) happen this month, which is nerve-wrecking but still very exciting as well.


Looking forward to how the month is progressing.
