It is UNBELIEVABLE!
I still remember clearly our New Year's Eve celebration last year, but now, we had another one this year!
Tonight was AMAZING!
We had:
- New Year's Eve celebration! it was packed full of PEOPLE!
- one cup of very delicious coffee heheheee ^^
- an Unforgetable dance / flash mob performance :D (Which I haven't done in SO long! :D) It was Epic. We jumped like crazy! :p
- Fireworks 'viewing party' at my house with family ^^ we watched fireworks that were lit from all over the city, then we ate some cake and drink some drinks :p up until around 1 am!
This year was so MEMORABLE for these following things:
- Graduation from high school!! :D
- SUMMER MISSION 2014!
- Got accepted in both a college and a Uni for 2015&2016
- having so many free time hahaha :D:D:D
Aaanndd for these reasons too:
- CLOSER Youth Christmas!
- the opportunity to learn a new language :p
- Perth Trip! :D
- visiting Taman sarari for the first time :p
- trying Snorkeling for the first time!! :D:D swimming aming the fishes and standing on corals..
- Relevant Leadership @JPCC & Harvest Festival @ IFGF! (hopefully next year: Planetshakers and Hillsong conference!!!! :D)
- buying Koala Kumal at midnight! :p
- and soo many other things!
- about the JOY of Serving! It's about Who we do these things for. Serving God is the best privilege we can have and honoring Him is what we live for. You know, seeing people's faces gleam when they 'met' God or feel His presencd through what we are doing.. that feeling is PRICELESS! And we know God is glorified throught that. Serving Him is what I want to do for the rest of my life!
Yes, it requires sacrifices. It has a price to pay, but you'll see, those sacrifices won't be a burden for much longer. Because anyway, Christ is Enough! ^^
- that people come and go; it's just what we do best. People come, and some might stay. But most people will eventually start another journey without no 'us' in its track. But it's okay. Let them go. Better people - who are going to stay - are coming. Treat them well while you can.
- not to trust people so easily. Like what Taylor Swift's 'Fifteen' is saying. Things don't always go to plan, even when we thought they will. People change, too. We can't put that much trust in people. For they might fail one day. We might fail, too. So just keep your heads up. Learn to 'read' people; to trust, or not to trust them. But even then, chances are, those who we think we can trust will end up dissappointing. Then, we learn from it, so we won't make the same mistake next time.
- to never rely on OUR own strength, but in HIS might! I saw too many times, when I thought 'I can do it', things ended uo falling apart. I got so frustrated everytime that happpens. But when I start to step back, surrender to God, and let HIM take the lead, with full trust that HE will do whatever is BEST - whatever that may be - I start to see MIRACLES happen! His FAVOR is indeed with us. Sometimes all we need to do is just step back. Stop trying to hard, surrender to Him, let Him take charge, for He wants to do GREAT things for you! Have faith :)
2014, it has been an honor knowing you. It was awesome :') but 2015 will be better still!
There's going to be a lot of change for me next year, so we'll see how it goes, but I'm just so ready to be blessed and be amazed by what God has prepared for me. Lots of lessons to be learned!! :D it won't be easy though. I guess I'll have to toughen up and be one tough cookie!
2015, let's do it!
